Step by step pembuatan antena kaleng + usb wifi

Bahan yang diperlukan dalam pembuatan antena kaleng :

- Kaleng bekas dengan ukuran diameter 3 inchi.
- Pipa paralon ukuran 3/4 inchi secukupnya.
- Tutup paralon ukuran 3/4 inchi.
- L paralon.
- Baut ukuran 10 atau 12.
- Busa foam.
- USB wireless

Pengerjaan :

- Kaleng Bekas di lobangi seukuran ujung USB Wireless dengan jarak USB alas bawah antara 4 s/d 5 cm.
- Lobangi alas kaleng tepat ditengahnya yang akan dipasang baut dan tutup paralon.

- Pasang juga paralon untuk menyambung ke L nya.
- Pasang USB Wireless pada tempatnya yang telah diberi busa foam.
- Tutup ujung dari kaleng supaya kalau ditempatkan diluar rumah tidak terkena air pada saat hujan.

Sekilas tentang Antena Kaleng + USB WIFI

Sekilas tentang cara pembuatan antena kaleng yang saya coba dan saat ini saya pakai lumayan bisa mendapat signal wifi, kemudahan adalah :
- Tidak memerlukan pigtail.
- Tidak ada pengerjaan penyolderan dan konektor RF sehingga tidak khawatir timbulnya SWR.
- Tidak ada modifikasi pada sistem RF sehingga tida perlu membongkar USB WIFI.
- Tidak perlu bongkar pasang PC.
- Tidak memerlukan power supply tambahan karena USB WIFI mendapat supply langsung dari PC / Notebook/ laptop sehingga memudahkan dalam pengetesan diluar rumah.
- Pengoperasian koneksi ke AP lebih mudah.

Untuk keperluan outdoor diperlukan kabel USB yang cukup panjang untuk menghubungkan antara antena yang sudah dipasang USB WIFI dengan PC / Notebook / laptop dapat digunakan dengan cara menyambung kabel USB dengan kabel UTP (kabel LAN).

Untuk menggunakan antena kaleng / wajanbolic diperlukan kabel USB yang cukup panjang antara 5 s/d 15 meter. Pemakaian perpanjangan kabel usb ini selain harganya lebih ekonomis dan mudah dalam pengerjaannya dibanding bila menggunakan kabel USB Active Extension Cable yang harganya lebih mahal dari USB WIFI.
Dalam pengerjaan tersebut diperlukan peralatan pendukung antara lain :
- Alat pemotong (pisau/gunting).
- Multitester (yang gunanya untuk mengetahui baik tidaknya kabel usb dan utp).
- Solder dan timah secukupnya.
- Solatip untuk membungkus kabel yang telah disolder.
